Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their comprehensive wellness and after-hours urgent care team. They provide veterinary care for dogs and cats and are recognized for their high medical standards, strong client trust, and commitment to excellence. With a long-standing 4.6-star community reputation, this is an exciting opportunity to join a respected clinic offering both routine care and critical urgent care services in Irmo, South Carolina.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays operate as urgent care only. The position offers flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing high-quality veterinary care across wellness and preventative services, surgery and dentistry, diagnostics, senior pet care, and urgent care. You will diagnose and treat a diverse caseload, support pet owners through clear communication, and collaborate closely with a strong support team. The position is open to both new graduates and experienced doctors.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited practice offers a wide range of services including spay and neuter, senior pet care, surgery and dentistry, diagnostics, in-house laboratory capabilities, and urgent care. Their structure supports consistent, high-level medicine with access to internal specialty consultations for complex cases. The environment is education-focused, supportive, and designed to help veterinarians grow clinically and professionally.

Team
The practice is home to 7 DVMs supported by a brilliant and dedicated paraprofessional team. The clinic fosters a collaborative, mentoring-oriented culture where veterinarians are supported in providing exceptional care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
