Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their veterinary team providing care for small animals. The hospital has been serving the Ladson and greater Charleston community for over 30 years and is known for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care and personalized treatment for each patient. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering a supportive environment focused on professional growth and collaboration.

Working Hours / Rota
The role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness and prevention services, diagnostics, advanced care, urgent care, and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, developing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures where required, and communicating clearly with clients regarding their pets' health and preventative care. The role also involves collaborating closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality patient care while building strong relationships with clients. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital provides comprehensive small animal veterinary services designed to support patients at every stage of life. Services offered include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, and pet boarding. The practice also offers capabilities in orthopedic procedures supported by strong diagnostic resources and a commitment to keeping up with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

The hospital has 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements

Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
