Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a full-service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical and surgical care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join an established clinical team. The hospital provides care for dogs and cats.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. This position is offered on a full-time basis and specific hours are flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for comprehensive patient examinations, medical work-ups, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, and internal medicine cases. The role includes client communication and education, maintaining accurate medical records, prescribing medications, participating in daily rounds, and collaborating closely with the wider hospital team to uphold clinical standards.

Practice Details
The hospital operates as a full-service practice with a strong focus on high-quality, compassionate care and client service. Facilities are equipped with in-house diagnostic capabilities including digital radiography, digital dental X-rays, ultrasound, ECG/EKG, bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing. Surgical capabilities include soft tissue surgery, spay and neuter procedures, dental surgery, orthopedic surgery, C-sections, ocular procedures, mass removals, foreign body surgeries, and wound repair. Services offered include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, dental care, urgent care, geriatric care, nutrition counseling, and care for puppies and kittens. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, medical excellence, and a supportive working environment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of six DVMs working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on high standards of patient care and strong client relationships.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
