Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a Part-Time Veterinarian. This is a small animal practice providing general practice and urgent care services for companion animals, with a focus on dogs and cats. The role is designed for veterinarians seeking flexible scheduling without overnight shifts and includes a mix of general practice and urgent care cases.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with every other Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The position is part-time, with an expected workload of approximately 25 hours per week and flexible scheduling options.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will examine patients, diagnose medical conditions, treat and dress wounds, perform surgical procedures, administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and advise clients on animal care and treatment plans. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, diagnostics, dermatology, urgent care, and end-of-life care. The role involves operating diagnostic equipment such as radiography and ultrasound and working collaboratively with the hospital team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.

The hospital practices progressive, individualized medicine supported by advanced diagnostic and medical capabilities. Facilities include modern surgical suites with anesthetic monitoring, diagnostic imaging with digital radiography and ultrasound, in-house laboratory services, pharmacy services, and comprehensive medical resources. Team

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
