Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a well-established, small animal hospital that has proudly served the community since 1987. They are currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice provides care for cats, dogs, and small pocket pets, offering a diverse and rewarding caseload within a supportive and professional environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with the hospital open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm and closed on weekends, allowing for an excellent work-life balance. The team closes for one hour at lunchtime each day. There are no weekend or after-hours requirements, making this an attractive opportunity for a veterinarian seeking consistency and balance in their schedule.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, the Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for examining and treating patients, advising pet owners on preventative healthcare and treatment options, operating diagnostic equipment, performing surgical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. The hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian with leadership aspirations who is eager to take the next step in their career. You will be supported with mentorship, training, and the resources needed to develop into a successful clinical leader.

Practice Details
The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including the latest diagnostic tools such as an ultrasound, advanced surgical technology, and modern treatment options to ensure the highest standard of patient care. Services offered include wellness examinations, surgery and anaesthesia, radiology and ultrasound, in-house diagnostics, dentistry, and prescription and dietary support. The facilities are designed to provide an excellent clinical environment, enabling the team to deliver outstanding care to every patient.

Team
The hospital currently has one DVM supported by an experienced team of technicians and office staff who work collaboratively to ensure high-quality medical care and exceptional client service. The culture is team-oriented and supportive, creating an environment where veterinarians can thrive professionally while delivering compassionate care to their patients.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
