Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal practice focused on delivering high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative clinical environment. The hospital is part of a growing network of locally owned animal hospitals that empowers veterinarians with medical autonomy while maintaining a strong focus on exceptional patient care and strong client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
This role offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (alternating), Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (alternating). The hospital is closed on Thursdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including wellness exams, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses, and performing surgical procedures such as spays and neuters. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, communicating clearly with pet owners, and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to maintain high standards of patient care. The role also includes providing urgent care for cases that present during hospital hours, such as injuries, infections, gastrointestinal issues, and other acute medical concerns. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

The hospital operates as a primary care small animal practice dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine while supporting veterinarians with clinical autonomy. Services offered include primary care, behavioral consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, euthanasia services, kitten and puppy care, microchipping, nutritional counseling, oncology diagnostics, oral health, prescription management, senior pet care, spaying and neutering, surgery, travel documentation, vaccinations, wellness exams, and urgent care during open hours. The practice emphasizes strong clinical standards developed by veterinarians and a supportive team environment designed to empower clinicians to deliver excellent care.

The hospital is supported by 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive environment where veterinarians and staff work together to deliver exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
