Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This small animal practice has a long-standing presence in the community and is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The hospital offers a broad range of services, from wellness and preventive care to advanced surgery and diagnostics, in a modern, well-equipped facility. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with Sunday closed. Doctor hours are 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturdays. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, offering flexibility and an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients. Daily responsibilities include conducting wellness exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, and maintaining detailed communication with clients to ensure continuity of care. The hospital welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing structured mentorship and professional support to help new doctors develop clinical confidence and technical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and a CT scanner-the only one of its kind in the region. The facility also offers extensive surgical capabilities for both soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, along with acupuncture, canine rehabilitation, and telemedicine services. As the only AAHA-accredited hospital in the area, the practice upholds exceptional standards of veterinary medicine. The caseload is varied and engaging, encompassing preventive wellness, dentistry, senior pet care, emergency cases, and specialty referral surgeries. The culture promotes collaboration, continuing education, and high-quality patient care.

Team
The hospital's team includes seven experienced DVMs supported by a highly trained support staff. Among the doctors are a board-certified practitioner, a reproductive specialist, and a board-certified veterinary surgeon who provides referral surgeries on-site. The team environment is collegial and mentoring-focused, encouraging collaboration, learning, and professional development at all levels of experience.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
