Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a clinic hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital is a full-service small animal practice providing comprehensive veterinary care. The role is focused on small animal medicine and surgery.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sunday. This position is offered on a full-time basis and specific working hours are flexible and open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Daily responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care cases during regular business hours. The role involves leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, educating clients on medical findings and treatment options, and collaborating closely with the support team. The position is suitable for veterinarians committed to practicing a high standard of medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full range of veterinary services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced medical care, orthopedic and specialized services, surgical procedures, and urgent care. Diagnostic capabilities include radiography, ultrasound, tonometry, ECG, and in-house laboratory testing. Treatment offerings include pain management, laser therapy, physical rehabilitation, behavioral therapy, chiropractic care, anesthesia, and both routine and advanced surgical procedures such as spay and neuter, dental surgery, and orthopedic surgery. The practice is equipped to provide emergency evaluation, stabilization, hospitalization, and urgent medical treatment during regular business hours, with referral coordination for advanced or 24-hour emergency care when needed.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs working within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
