Position Details: Location: Hilliard, OH Schedule Options:

Second Shift, Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM, 5 days/week with every other weekend

Second Shift, 7 days on/7 days off, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Direct Hire Required: Ohio Pharmacist License in-hand Key Responsibilities: Handle and manage controlled substances (narcotics) in compliance with federal and state regulations. Review and evaluate medication orders for accuracy, appropriate dosage, interactions, and proper administration. Provide clinical recommendations for medication therapy changes to physicians and client facility staff. Maintain detailed patient drug profiles including medical history and laboratory data to ensure safe medication use. Address and resolve medication-related queries through communication with nursing staff, physicians, and healthcare teams. Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring quality and safety. Maintain strict records and security measures for controlled drugs. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Desired Qualifications: Valid Ohio Pharmacist License Experience with controlled substances and narcotics handling Strong clinical knowledge in pharmacy operations, with prior LTC pharmacy exposure preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Familiarity with pharmacy information systems (Frameworks experience is a plus) This role offers an engaging environment with an expanding team dedicated to delivering exceptional pharmacy services to long term care facilities.
