Supervising Pharmacist

We are seeking a full-time Supervising Pharmacist licensed in the state of Ohio to provide leadership, oversight, and regulatory accountability for pharmacy operations. The Supervising Pharmacist is responsible for maintaining compliance with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and other regulatory agencies. This includes overseeing policies and procedures, ensuring proper documentation, and confirming that pharmacy practices meet legal, ethical, and professional standards. The role involves regular review of workflows, recordkeeping, and medication handling processes to ensure safety, accuracy, and consistency across operations.

In this position, you will provide professional oversight and guidance to pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. You will serve as a clinical and operational resource, addressing questions related to pharmacy law, best practices, and patient safety. While you will collaborate with management and staff, this role does not involve creating or managing employee schedules, allowing you to focus on higher-level oversight and compliance functions.

Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and sound professional judgment are essential to success in this role.

Qualified candidates must hold an active, unrestricted Ohio pharmacist license and have an understanding of state and federal pharmacy regulations. Prior supervisory or managerial experience is preferred, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
