Set Up Technician

HTI is hiring Set Up Technicians for ZF Transmissions in Gray Court, SC. These are DIRECT HIRE positions on 2nd/3rd shifts. Pay is $33.91 - $36.58 Per Hour. The shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts is $1.00 Per Hour. Overtime is required.

• Set Up all equipment in accordance with standard work practices within assigned work area.
• Trainer for assigned work area according to certification process.
• Assist as needed in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing production equipment in assigned work area.
• Verify that all quality checks including measurements and documents are being recorded in the SPC system (CMM Reporter or SPC Control Charts) in accordance to job specifications and standard work practices within assigned work area.
• Adhere to all housekeeping SOP's in and around work area including 5S standards.
• Understand and comply with TS 16949 and ISO 14000 requirements.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Strength in CNC machining functions, included but not limited, such as grinding, drilling, milling, hard turning, honing, and deburring.
• Knowledge of gear manufacturing processes including hobbing, broaching and gear cutting techniques.
• Understanding of metal hardening techniques including inductive hardening, and vacuum carbonating.
• Demonstrated knowledge in CNC machine setup and changeover procedures.
• Knowledge in automated metal forming, Kuka robots, chemical resin applications & curing (i.e., "Dip" powder coating & curing), automated assembly, and fast paced laser weld utilizing 3D CNC positioning.
