Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Roswell, GA as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials per protocol, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic studies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and ARRT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certifications required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or equivalent) upon hire.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required. CT experience less than 1 year is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency with CT equipment operation, patient positioning, dose reduction techniques, power injector use, PACS/RIS workflows, and venipuncture.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations and support lifesaving equipment maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interactions with physicians, patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff.
• Willingness to take call and flexibility with work hours to meet department needs.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 0700-1900.
• Shift pattern: 3x12 (Thurs-Sat 0700-1900 with call).
• Responsibilities include performing all CT exams per department procedures, contrast administration, image quality review, PACS/RIS management, equipment cleaning and restocking, and occasional crosscoverage assistance in other modalities as needed.
