Mammography Tech Travel Job

Join as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment at a hospital in Roswell, GA. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. You will work independently to produce diagnostic-quality studies while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography (ARRT-M) certification required.
• Current ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in mammography preferred.
• Maintain FDA/MQSA requirements for continuing education, experience, and equipment competency.
• Demonstrated competence in mammography positioning, exposure technique, radiation protection, and ACR/MQSA quality control testing (phantom, compression, repeat analysis, calibration, equipment QC).
• Ability to operate mammography equipment and maintain image quality and equipment calibration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to assist in other imaging modalities and perform routine clerical or support duties as needed.
• Preferred: Familiarity with mammography tracking systems and PACS/RIS workflows.

• Shift pattern: Monday through Friday, 5x8 schedule.
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs as required.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the system as needed.
