Job Description

Location: Wichita, KS (Full-time in-office with field travel as required)

Compensation: $75,810 – $121,140 + Performance Bonus

About Us Parrent LLC / Civil Construction is a stable, family-owned commercial contractor currently evolving from a specialty concrete sub to a General Contractor for national retail brands. We aren’t looking for “hyper-growth”; we are looking for sustainable quality. We need a Project Manager who wants to plant roots and help us build the systems and processes that will define our company for the next decade.

The Role You will be the “bridge” between our field operations and our office management. As we transition more of our work to a GC model, you will play a key role in shaping how we manage projects. This is a “roll-up-your-sleeves” role—we need someone who understands the field but is capable of managing the administrative and financial accuracy required to keep our projects profitable.

What You Will Own:

  • Project Lifecycle: Managing the end-to-end execution of retail/commercial projects (sub-contracts and GC work).

  • Process Improvement: Working closely with ownership to create and document repeatable SOPs for bidding, site management, and project reporting.

  • Budgeting & Job Costing: Daily/weekly tracking of project costs against budgets. You’ll be responsible for keeping our margins healthy and identifying “leakage” before it becomes a problem.

  • Subcontractor & Vendor Oversight: Managing relationships, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

  • Field/Office Liaison: You’ll be the point person for our field superintendents, ensuring they have the plans, materials, and support they need to succeed.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 4–7+ years of Commercial Construction experience: You’ve been “in the trenches” and understand what it takes to finish a job on time and under budget.

  • Systems-Mindset: We are building our PM processes. You need to be the type of person who loves organization, documentation, and efficiency.

  • Financial Literacy: You can read a budget, manage an AIA pay app, and understand why “job cost” is the most important number on your screen.

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Excel, and experienced with industry-standard project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).

  • Growth Mindset: We are building a future-proof company. We need someone who is looking to grow with us, not just move through a corporate ladder.

Why Join Us?

  • Career Path: As we expand our GC division, there is a clear path for you to grow into a Senior PM or Operations Lead.

  • Impact: You won’t be a “cog in the machine” here. Your ideas on how to run a project will actually be implemented and valued.

  • Stability & Values: We are a family-owned, values-driven business. We treat our people like partners, not just payroll numbers.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $75,810 – $121,140 (commensurate with experience).

  • Performance Bonus: Based on project profitability and efficiency targets.

  • Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision.

  • PTO + Paid Holidays.

How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a short note on why you are looking for a long-term role in a company where you can help build the processes from the ground up.
