Director of Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and direct production activities across Tool & Press, Assembly, and Paint operations to support overall business objectives and cultivate a team-oriented culture
• Oversee the training and development of supervisors by establishing goals, monitoring performance, and driving accountability
• Propose and support capital equipment purchases aligned with the corporate business plan
• Utilize forecast data to establish and monitor production and capacity planning, making adjustments based on operational demands
• Monitor inventory levels against the business plan and assist in establishing inventory policies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience across multiple production areas
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coordinate manufacturing equipment purchases and identify opportunities to eliminate waste
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Experience with Surface Mount Technology and Ultrasonic Welding is a plus
• Experience in the safety lighting industry is a plus
