Responsibilities:

• Implement and continuously improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure employee safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Oversee and manage daily plant operations to meet short- and mid-term financial and operational objectives aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Drive plant-level initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, new product integration, and optimal equipment utilization.
• Lead and execute strategic initiatives to maintain high standards in operational performance, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Establish and maintain effective controls over capital expenditures, operating costs, labor, and compensation.
• Track and evaluate plant performance to ensure production efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance, utilizing Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging employee involvement in process and operational improvements.
• Address and resolve critical operational challenges to ensure consistent production output, quality, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Standardize processes, work instructions, and visual management systems while incorporating industry best practices.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to provide feedback on product performance and identify new opportunities.
• Manage product engineering resources to deliver customized solutions and optimize cost structures.
• Partner with sales teams to ensure customer needs and feedback are integrated into manufacturing processes.
• Travel as required to support business operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; MBA preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent training preferred.
• 7-10 years of plant or general management experience in manufacturing or remanufacturing environments.
• Experience in highly regulated industries with strict quality, safety, and performance standards (e.g., pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive).
• Strong understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, supply chain, maintenance, quality, HR, EHS, and finance.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean manufacturing, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in a collaborative, empowerment-driven environment.
• Experience managing operational costs, capital investments, and maintenance budgets.
• Solid knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA compliance, with a track record of improving safety performance.
• Experience working in unionized environments is a plus, depending on location.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and training skills.
