We're currently seeking a highly motivated Scheduler located in Baltimore, MD .

Position Overview:

The Scheduler is responsible for preparing, evaluating, and maintaining project schedules for airport infrastructure and terminal development projects. This role supports the Construction Management and Inspection team by developing and managing detailed project schedules to ensure construction activities are properly planned, coordinated, and executed within established project timelines.

The Scheduler works closely with the Project Manager, Resident Engineer, contractors, and project controls staff to develop and maintain comprehensive schedules that reflect project scope, sequencing, procurement requirements, and construction phasing. The Scheduler will also monitor schedule performance, identify potential delays, and support corrective actions to maintain project milestones and completion targets.

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma

Required Certifications:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling Professional PSP certification is required.

Required Qualifications:

In order to become a candidate, you must possess the following skills and abilities.

  • Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in project scheduling for construction, infrastructure, or aviation capital improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and managing complex construction schedules involving single or multiple bid packages and phased construction programs.
  • Extensive experience using Primavera P6 scheduling software for schedule development, analysis, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path scheduling, and schedule performance analysis.
  • Experience supporting large infrastructure or transportation construction programs is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for airport infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
  • Develop baseline project schedules that reflect project scope, construction sequencing, procurement timelines, and operational constraints.
  • Evaluate contractor submitted schedules to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.
  • Review and analyze construction schedules involving multiple bid packages, phased construction activities, and complex coordination requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual construction activities and progress milestones.
  • Identify critical path activities and potential schedule impacts that may affect project completion.
  • Provide schedule analysis and recommendations to support project planning, phasing, and construction coordination.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Resident Engineer, and contractors to ensure scheduling assumptions align with field conditions and construction plans.
  • Prepare schedule reports, look ahead schedules, and schedule performance updates for project leadership and client representatives.
  • Evaluate schedule changes resulting from design revisions, change orders, or construction delays.
  • Support schedule recovery planning and development of mitigation strategies when schedule impacts occur.
  • Participate in construction progress meetings and schedule review meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Maintain schedule documentation and historical records to support project reporting and claims analysis if required.

Salary:

45.00/hr

Bonus Pay:
A bonus may be granted to employees depending on individual performance, employee utilization, attendance, tenure, and furtherance of other non-financial corporate goals; bonus opportunities are available at management's discretion.
