Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join their established general practice. This companion animal hospital provides comprehensive small animal care and is looking for a full-time DVM to become part of a collaborative three-doctor team. The practice focuses on long-term client relationships, thoughtful general medicine, and maintaining a steady, sustainable pace that supports both quality care and team wellbeing.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Tuesday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Thursday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The clinic is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will practice general small animal medicine in a structured and supportive environment. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and vaccination appointments, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, dentistry, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgeries such as lumpectomies and tumor removals, wound repair, alternative therapies including laser therapy, diagnostics, and end-of-life care. The role also involves utilizing in-house and off-site laboratory services, digital radiography, and ultrasound to support diagnostic and treatment planning. The position is suited to a veterinarian who values collaboration, consistency, and high-quality general practice medicine within a positive and team-oriented culture.

Diagnostic capabilities include in-house and off-site laboratory services, digital radiography, and ultrasound. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
