Optometrist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team at Horta-Santini Eye Care, a solo glaucoma specialist practice located in Corona, Queens. Our clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest level of eye care to our patients.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct Comprehensive eye exams to assess and diagnose patients' vision conditions.
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with the glaucoma specialist and other team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Utilize advanced equipment to perform diagnostic tests and assessments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Optometry license in the State of New York.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
