Optometrist

We are searching for a full-time or a part-time Optometrist to join our busy and growing practice. The ideal candidate should be flexible, a team player, willing to see children, and help out with daily work-in appointments. You will use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care and contact lens services to our patients. 

The position is a full or part-time opportunity with an average patient load of 25 patients per day or more based on the doctor's preference.  Providing care for a variety of patients consisting of ages 5 and up. 

Regular duties include:

•  Performing comprehensive eye exams
•  Diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular diseases, including dry eye disease
•  Prescribing corrective lenses, both spectacles and contact lenses
•  Providing pre-and post-op care to surgical patients
•  Handling eyecare emergencies 
•  Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress using EHR
