We are partnering with our client to identify a Transactional Business & Finance Associate Attorney to join its established practice in Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney seeking to grow their practice while working closely with experienced partners on sophisticated business matters in a collaborative environment.
Position: Transactional Business & Finance Associate Attorney (2–5 Years)
About the Role
This position offers exposure to a wide range of corporate and financial matters, including business transactions, entity structuring, contract drafting, and mergers and acquisitions. The attorney will work directly with business clients while gaining hands-on deal experience and mentorship from senior attorneys.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate and transactional agreements
- Assist with business formations, governance, and corporate compliance
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare transaction documentation
- Advise clients on business and financial legal matters
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to structure transactions and mitigate risk
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of corporate / transactional legal experience
- Experience with business transactions, contracts, and corporate governance
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work collaboratively
- Licensed and in good standing
