Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) CAD Designer - Q3C CO

We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

We have an immediate opening for a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) CAD Designer at our Commerce City, Colorado office. The position is responsible for the SUE drafting in AutoCAD for Plan and Profile designs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create and/or update utility drawings utilizing processed field data.
• Communicate directly with SUE & internal for incoming orders and work.
• Meet on job sites for large projects as needed.
• Work directly with City Inspectors and Engineers to review and change plans for permitting.
• Actively communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors as situation warrant.
• Perform QC of deliverables with other team members.
• Perform records research and data collection for Plan and Profile.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education or experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Proficient verbal, written, analytical and organization skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.

• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred, but not required.
  
  

Compensation and Benefits:
