About the Role

Join an industrial engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer eager to grow their skills in drafting, design, and project execution. This is a contract-to-hire role with strong internal promotion opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Design and lay out mechanical equipment, components, and systems.
• Draft and detail engineering drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation.
• Maintain project drawing files and prepare submittal documentation.
• Read and interpret shop drawings.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and attend client meetings.
• Optional travel to customer sites for product intake and installations.
• Participate in on-the-job training to accelerate your career growth.

Must-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (GPA 3.7+ preferred; School of Mines graduates preferred).
• 0–2 years of experience in drafting/design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, MicroStation).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

• Internship or project experience with conveyor systems.
