Now Hiring: Standing Seam Metal Roofing Subcontractor Crews (3–10 Installers)
Residential & Light Commercial – Detail-Focused Projects
We are seeking experienced Standing Seam Metal Roofing subcontractor crews for primarily residential and light commercial projects. Our work is detail-driven and quality-focused. While we do not typically handle large apartment complexes, we consistently perform custom homes, specialty builds, additions, and high-end reroofs.
We are looking for skilled crews that value craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism.
Project Scope
Standing seam metal roof installations
Custom trim and flashing fabrication
Small-to-medium residential projects
Architectural and detail-intensive roofing systems
Specialty repairs and tie-ins
This is not high-volume production roofing. This is precision metal work.
Subcontractor Requirements
Proven experience installing standing seam metal roofing systems
Experience with snap-lock and/or mechanically seamed systems
Ability to fabricate and install custom flashings and trim
Knowledge of proper underlayment, ventilation, and water management systems
Valid contractor license (if required by state/local regulations)
General liability insurance (Certificate of Insurance required)
Workers' compensation coverage (or exemption documentation)
Crew size between 3–10 installers
English-speaking crew leader or supervisor
Strong attention to detail and finish quality
Clean, organized job sites
Strict adherence to safety standards
Reliable scheduling and timely completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with architectural or high-end residential builds
Ability to read blueprints and roof plans
Experience with specialty metals (Galvalume, aluminum, copper, etc.)
Knowledge of manufacturer specifications and warranty compliance
Ability to operate brake and metal fabrication equipment
What We Value Most
Standing seam roofing is not forgiving — details matter.
We can support process and coordination, but we cannot teach:
Craftsmanship
Professionalism
Reliability
Clear communication
Clean, precise workmanship
Respect for property and homeowners
Accountability
We are looking for crews who take pride in straight lines, tight seams, clean penetrations, and proper flashing details.
What We Offer
Consistent, steady work (not just one large project at a time)
Detail-oriented projects with strong margins
Prompt payment
Organized project management
Long-term partnership opportunities
Work that showcases craftsmanship
