Our client is a veterinary hospital in New York hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join an established and growing team. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary services within a modern, community-focused environment and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to support continued growth and high standards of patient care. The role is open to veterinarians at any stage of their career, including both experienced DVMs and new graduates.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Specific individual doctor hours are not detailed. The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care in a collaborative hospital setting. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, surgery, and dentistry, with an emphasis on practicing advanced medicine and supporting a wide range of patient needs. The role also involves working closely with a large veterinary team and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and client experience. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
