We are expanding our store locations and our leadership team and seeking experienced, strategic Store Manager for our up and coming Norristown, PA area store. This dynamic leader will oversee all store operations, drive revenue and profitability and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
In this role, you will collaborate with corporate leadership and fellow store managers to implement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and business performance across the organization. This position will initially serve as a Bench Store Manager role, preparing you for placement in a new or existing store here on Long Island.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop store staff to achieve departmental and company goals. Act as a role model, coach, trainer, and performance evaluator to ensure a high-performing, motivated team.
- Customer Experience: Engage directly with customers, providing product knowledge and exceptional service while ensuring the store delivers a welcoming, high-quality shopping experience.
- Store Operations & Execution: Oversee day-to-day store operations, including merchandising, staffing, workflow, and store standards. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations.
- Financial Management:
- Own the store P&L , ensuring profitability through effective management of revenue, expenses, labor, and operating costs.
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, promotional initiatives, and customer engagement plans.
- Manage shrink and waste , implementing strategies to minimize product loss while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to support sales and reduce excess stock.
- Oversee ordering, deliveries, and replenishment to ensure product availability.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Merchandising & Visual Standards: Ensure attractive product displays, proper signage, and strategic store layouts to maximize sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure store compliance with health department, weights and measures, food safety, and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for employees and customers.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Analyze key metrics, including sales, labor, shrink, and inventory performance, and implement action plans to achieve business objectives.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall store and corporate initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 710 years of experience in the grocery or specialty food industry or big box retail, with significant experience as a Store Manager.
- Demonstrated expertise inP&L management, revenue growth, inventory control, and shrink reduction.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review financial reports, track KPIs, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with retail technology systems.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent writing, reporting, and presentation skills.

Working Conditions
- Frequent movement on hard surfaces, including bending, climbing, stooping, reaching, and handling merchandise.
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds; occasional assistance for heavier or awkward items may be required.
- Indoor environment with exposure to moving machinery, loud equipment, freezers, ovens, and temperature variations.
- Occasional exposure to cleaning agents and use of walk-in refrigerators/freezers.
