What You’ll Do (Duties)

As an Optometric Technician, you are the backbone of our patient flow. Your role includes:

• Patient Work-ups: Prepare patients for their exams by taking vitals, updating medical histories, and performing pre-testing.

• Specialized Testing: Operate state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment and optical systems.

• Doctor Support: Assist our optometrists during exams and ensure all medical records are accurate.

• Office Excellence: Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment and assist with administrative tasks like scheduling or inventory when needed.

• Patient Education: Provide exceptional service and guide patients through their post-exam steps.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills with a "patient-first" attitude.

• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using medical office software and learning new clinical technologies.

• Reliability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment both independently and as a team player.

• Compliance: Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

• Bonus: Knowledge of medical terminology or prior experience in a medical office is a plus, but not required!
