Join Our Team as an Optometrist at Veo Vision Center!

We are growing! Veo Vision Center is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our team in one of our offices between Shelton and Orange, CT. As a leading eye care clinic, we provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and management of ocular diseases for adults and children in Connecticut.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Perform contact lens fittings and provide guidance on proper lens care
• Administer visual field testing and diagnose ocular diseases
• Assist with pre-testing procedures and refraction
• Educate patients on eye health and treatment options

Required Skills:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in eye care, contact lens fittings, and visual field testing
• Knowledge of ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and cataracts
• Proficiency in pre-testing, refraction, and optometry equipment
• Ability to provide patient recall and postoperative care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Optomap and Optical Coherence Tomography
• Knowledge of vision therapy and low vision services
• Familiarity with LASIK procedures and prescription dispensing

Salary and Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $135,000.00
• Maximum Salary: $145,000.00
