Join Our Team as an Executive Banquet Chef at the Best Wedding Venue in North Georgia!

Are you a culinary professional looking to showcase your skills in a high-end wedding venue located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains?  We are seeking an Executive Banquet Chef to join our team and help us continue to provide our clients with exceptional culinary experiences. You will be require to be the lead production chef along with a sous chef. As a culinary professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a stunning facility, create fresh food on site, and be a part of a growing team dedicated to excellence. Must have current Safe Serve Certificate. This is the wedding businees and working weekends is REQUIRED. This can be a DREAM JOB for the right chef.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Menu planning and development for buffets serving 100-220 guests
  • Must be able to produce a high quality menu to include 3 or more passed or station hors d'oeuvres, Salad Course, buffet to included 2 entrees, 2 side items, fresh baked bread, etc
  • Must be able to execute Plated & Served dinners for 150 guest or less
  • Buffet & Plated presentation to ensure an elegant and visually appealing dining experience
  • Creating new trending wedding menu items 
  • Ordering for all weddings 
  • Maintaining food cost 
  • Responsible for all restaurant equipment maintenance 
  • Utilize sautéing, broiling, and scratch cooking techniques to create delicious dishes
  • Ensure food quality and consistency through proper portion control and adherence to recipes
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage back of house operations and maintain a clean and organized workspace

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
  • Experience with menu engineering and writing seasonal menus
  • Strong culinary skill set to be able to produce banquet menu fro 100 guest up to 220 with another Sous chef
  • Constantly studying the latest food trends of weddings
  • Experience in kitchen management, pocessing great communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience in menu writing and creating specialty dishes
  • Passed Hors d'oeuvres
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing menus

Salary and Benefits:

We are a high-end wedding venue located in the North Georgia Mountains, 1 hour North of Atlanta. We prepare all food on site to ensure a high-quality culinary experience for our clients and their guests. We mainly offer buffets for 100 up to 220 guests. This wedding venue is probably the most beautiful facility in Georgia and a great work atmosphere. We have been growing at a rapid rate over the last 3 years and now need culinary professionals to join our team to continue offering our clients an amazing culinary experience.
