This perspective enables the Specialist to cultivate meaningful partnerships, design relevant experiential learning opportunities, and mentor students with insights grounded in real-world practiceultimately enhancing their readiness for employment and long-term career growth.
As part of the Office of Career Management, The Sr. Industry Pathways & Partnerships Specialist will serve as the industry-facing leader for The Fisher Career Pathways program. This role requires deep industry experience to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world business practices. The Specialist will leverage professional expertise, networks, and collaborative experience for cross-functional and cross-office partnerships to create high-impact, experiential programs that prepare students for success in competitive markets.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree or equivalent education and/or experience. Minimum 4 years of professional industry experience in career and/or workforce readiness, human resources, industry engagement or a related area. Demonstrated success in managing career development initiatives and/or high-impact student programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage executives, hiring managers, and academic leaders. Proven ability to cultivate and leverage professional networks across multiple industries. An understanding of current industry trends, skills, needs, and employer expectations in competitive business markets. Ability to translate real-world business practices into student development programs. Ability to create and scale programs that support career pathway exploration and readiness for undergraduate or graduate business students. Ability to partner with varied stakeholders (faculty, staff, students, employers) in collaborative environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desired Experience : Experience working with college students or early-career talent in an advising, teaching, or coaching capacity. Demonstrated success in building, maintaining, and expanding strategic employer partnerships.
Additional Information:The target hiring range for this job profile is $51,500 - $67,250. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
