About the Role
As a Summer Camp Counselor for our Pre-K and Kindergarten group, youll lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning, play, and social-emotional growth. You'll help create a safe and joyful summer experience while working closely with the camp team and families to ensure each camper has a positive, enriching experience.
You will also:
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers throughout the day
- Lead planned activities and transitions based on a daily schedule
- Maintain camper accountability with frequent headcounts and attention to individual needs
- Support arrival and dismissal procedures
- Serve as a positive role model through professional conduct and enthusiasm
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with parents, campers, and team members
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
What Were Looking For
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with young children in school, childcare, or camp settings
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
- Ability to lead activities and manage camper behavior with positivity and professionalism
Prior experience in a structured camp or early childhood program preferred
