ABOUT THE ROLE Warehouse Associate (Forklift Driver)
We are seeking an energetic and skilled Warehouse Associate (Forklift Driver) to support warehouse operations at our Penn Yan, NY facility. This role is responsible for the safe receiving, selecting, storing, scanning, and loading of products and materials. Successful candidates will operate materialhandling equipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and support overall warehouse flow in a fastpaced environment.
WHAT YOULL DO
Safely unload inbound shipments and move materials to proper storage or staging locations
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, properly labeled, and free of damage
Scan and record all transactions (shipments, donations, product loss, damage) to maintain accurate inventory
Support quality, food safety, regulatory, and housekeeping requirements throughout all warehouse activities
Operate forklifts and other materialhandling equipment in a safe and compliant manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to meet KanPak quality standards
Assist in supporting long and shortterm warehouse goals and productivity objectives
Read and follow shipping documents, packaging instructions, and safety guidelines
Contribute positively to a teambased work environment and support other areas as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOULL NEED
High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of warehouse or forklift operator experience
Ability to safely operate forklifts and related equipment
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and complete electronic documentation
Strong handeye coordination, peripheral vision, and spatial awareness
Strong time management and attention to detail
Ability to read and understand packaging, shipping documents, and safety guidelines
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and reaching
THE SCHEDULE & SETTING
Rotating 12hour schedule
Week A: 36 hours
Week B: 48 hours
Shift: Days, 7 a.m. 7 p.m.
Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime
Work performed in a warehouse environment with material handling, forklift operation, and frequent physical activity
PAY & BENEFITS
Pay Range (Base Pay): $19-$20/hr
Other Compensation: May include overtime pay and shift premiums

Retirement Benefits: 401(k)
Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, sick time, and paid company holidays in accordance with policy and laws
