Essential Duties & Responsibilities Machine Operation
  • Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery to produce parts to specification.
  • Select proper tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and job requirements.
  • Cut and form components from blueprint specifications and/or work orders to required tolerances.
  • Work with steel, aluminum, and various curved or angled parts.
  • Identify machine requirements for each specific job.
  • Perform routine machine troubleshooting and basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Quality Assurance
  • Inspect, measure, and verify final parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.
  • Maintain accurate production, waste, and quality records as required.
  • Ensure all products meet or exceed quality, output, and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Know and adhere to all safety protocols for specific press brake equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area, including sweeping and removing debris daily.
General Responsibilities
  • Package finished parts and prepare materials for shipment or next production stage.
  • Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed, including operation of turrets, panel benders, presses, or other machinery upon training.
  • Support company Mission, Vision, and Values as part of the team.
  • Attend required training sessions and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Education & Experience
  • Prior manufacturing and machine operator experience required.
  • Experience operating a press brake or metal fabrication equipment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.
  • Knowledge of metal manufacturing materials and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to learn additional production machinery as needed.
Work Environment
  • Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to extreme hot/cold temperatures, loud noise, dust, uneven walking surfaces, and machine-related hazards.
  • Required PPE includes safety glasses, earplugs, and steeltoe or compositetoe boots; additional PPE provided as needed.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and working with hands to handle materials and equipment.
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
  • Regularly lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must possess visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
