HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

Heavy Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates heavy equipment on heavy civil road construction projects in compliance with plans and specs.

Local projects (overnights are extremely rare), competetive pay and benefits packge, paid time off, performance bonus potential

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
* Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues
* Use GPS and grade control systems when applicable
* Follow and promote company safety programs

MUST be highly skilled in operating:
* Trackhoe
* Bulldozer


Qualifications:
* 2+ years heavy equipment operating experience in road construction preferred
* Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
* Must pass drug screening and have reliable transportation
* Must demonstrate excellent attendance
* Bilingual, a plus
