Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the company-wide Quality Control Program across active construction projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain standardized quality control procedures and documentation.
  • Build and expand a centralized Quality Control document library to ensure consistency across projects.
  • Assist with project-specific quality control plan setup, execution, and closeout.
  • Conduct regular field inspections to ensure compliance with quality plans and project requirements.
  • Verify that quality documentation is accurately completed and properly recorded.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings to align subcontractors with quality expectations.
  • Train internal teams and trade partners on quality control processes and best practices.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents to address and resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Work with the Quality Control Committee to continuously improve quality initiatives.
  • Ensure quality control closeout documentation is completed and included in project turnover.
  • Foster collaboration and engagement in quality-focused initiatives across teams.
  • Support ongoing employee training to ensure delivery of a high-quality final product.
  • Work from the office or project sites as required.
  • Work days, nights, evenings, and weekends as dictated by project schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of construction experience, or equivalent experience in a construction quality control role with strong emphasis on building envelope.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required.
  • First Aid certification required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and contract documents.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and implement practical solutions.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolding up to 50 feet.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk construction sites extensively (8-10 hours per day).
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, twist, and work in varying weather and temperature conditions.
