Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking a Lead Veterinarian to join and guide their clinical team. The practice provides high-quality care to cats and dogs and is known for its commitment to medical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends, supporting a healthy work-life balance. The schedule is full time, the hospital are happy to discuss scheduling preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As Lead Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive general practice care while serving as a clinical leader within the hospital. Your responsibilities will include managing a varied caseload, performing surgery and dentistry, supporting diagnostic and treatment planning, and ensuring high standards of medical care are consistently upheld. You will also act as a mentor and resource for the veterinary team, helping to foster collaboration, professional development, and a positive, team-oriented environment. This role is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The hospital is fully equipped with modern technology, including radiology, ultrasound, and endoscopy, allowing you to practice progressive, evidence-based medicine. Services offered include wellness and preventative care, spay and neuter procedures, dentistry, diagnostics, senior care, acupuncture, endoscopy, and more, providing a diverse and engaging caseload.

Team
You will work alongside two teams of veterinarians and a highly skilled, dedicated support staff. The culture is collaborative and supportive, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and delivering excellent patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
