Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice provides comprehensive care to cats and dogs, combining high medical standards with a supportive, team-focused culture. Working Hours / Rota
The clinic operates Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is closed on weekends. The last appointment is scheduled at 5:00 p.m., and there are no on-call or late-night expectations. This is a full-time position with a predictable schedule designed to respect your personal time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive general practice care, including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and ongoing case management. You will work through cases from initial exam to treatment while educating clients and building long-term relationships. This role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship and support available to help you grow confidently in your career.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and equipped with modern technology, including radiology, ultrasound, echocardiography, and electrocardiography, allowing you to practice advanced, evidence-based medicine. Services include wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, cold laser therapy, dentistry, routine and advanced surgeries, and imaging.
Team
You will be joining a practice currently led by one experienced DVM, with plans to expand by adding an additional veterinarian. The hospital is supported by an excellent staff-to-doctor ratio, ensuring you have the assistance needed to focus on patient care. The team culture is collaborative, respectful, and committed to helping each veterinarian succeed.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
