Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and close-knit team. The practice focuses exclusively on cats and dogs, delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a well-organized general practice setting. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys practicing comprehensive medicine, building lasting client relationships, and working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with one Saturday per month from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This is a full-time position with a predictable schedule and limited weekend commitment, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will manage a varied general practice caseload, providing wellness and preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. You will work cases through from diagnosis to treatment, ensuring clear client communication and high standards of care. This position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship available to support clinical growth and confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped with an in-house laboratory with chemistry capabilities, digital radiography, and ultrasound, allowing you to practice efficient, modern medicine. Services offered include preventive care, wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and radiology, giving you the opportunity to maintain a diverse and engaging clinical caseload.

Team
You will work alongside a tenured veterinarian and a reliable, experienced support team that includes three veterinary assistants, two receptionists, and a groomer. The team culture is collaborative and supportive, ensuring you have the assistance needed to focus on delivering excellent patient care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
