Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Union Carpenter Floor Layers to join our workforce in the Green Bay area. This position involves the installation, repair, and finishing of a wide variety of commercial and industrial flooring systems. Key Responsibilities

• Install commercial flooring systems including vinyl composition tile (VCT), luxury vinyl tile/plank (LVT/LVP), sheet vinyl, carpet tile, rubber flooring, and specialty flooring systems

• Prepare subfloors by measuring, leveling, grinding, patching, and moisture testing

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and layout drawings

• Accurately measure, cut, and fit flooring materials

• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

• Apply adhesives and finishes according to manufacturer and job specifications

• Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA and union safety standards

• Work collaboratively with other trades and jobsite supervision

Qualifications

• Member in good standing with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) or ability to obtain dispatch through the local union

• Experience in commercial or industrial floor covering installation preferred

• Knowledge of flooring materials, tools, and installation techniques

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Reliable transportation to job sites in and around Green Bay
