The Premiere Group is seeking highly skilled, systems-minded, and reliable Accounting Managers to oversee the accounting and analysis for a diverse portfolio of entities, including Commercial Real Estate, Equipment Rental, Technology, Construction, and Home Service industries. We are looking for leaders who can ensure the integrity of financial processes while providing hands-on support to their teams.

We are hiring for a role that will specialize in one of two distinct areas: Accounting & Team Leadership (Track A) or Operations & Systems (Track B) .

All Accounting Managers will execute the following essential duties:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including subsidiary and consolidated reports, and provide analysis into the financial performance of entities.
• GAAP Compliance: Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Month-End Close & Audit Support: Responsible for meeting deadlines in month-end close procedures and supporting annual financial statement audits and reviews.
• Accounting Oversight: Oversee general ledger activity including reconciliations, fixed asset management, lease accounting, and balance sheet integrity.
• Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, systems, and documentation to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scability.
• Cross-Functional & Strategic Support: Collaborate with leadership and other teams to report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and GAAP financials to support strategic decision-making.

The final role and responsibilities will align with one of the following two areas:

This role is focused on the day-to-day leadership of the accounting team, month-end close execution, and accounting accuracy.

• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounting team, overseeing accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed asset management. Provide coaching and performance feedback to accounting staff.
• Financial Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial due diligence on target companies, identifying risks and opportunities and assessing the impact on financials.
• Close Leadership: Lead the planning, directing, and coordination of accounting operational functions and month-end close.
• Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends to assess the financial health and strategic accounting practices of assigned entities.

This role is focused on accounting operations, system ownership, training, AP/credit card management.

• Operations Optimization: Serve as the primary owner of transactional workflows that support accounting operations (accounts payable, credit cards, monthly close processes, etc) to improve efficiency and reduce financial risk; direct manager of accounts payable and credit card functions
• Systems Lead: Lead the development and implementation of financial systems across all portfolio companies.
• Technical Integration: Serve as the liaison between Finance, IT, and accounting teams during integrations and new entity onboarding.
• Documentation & Training: Partner with portfolio companies to understand and evaluate accounting processes, supporting improvements to processes where needed. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support effective and scalable accounting operations..

All candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting is required; Masters Degree or CPA is preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of GAAP and proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, etc. Preferable experience with other accounting software/systems for accounts payable and credit card administration.
