Registered Dental Assistant

Location: Southern Smiles, Family and Cosmetic Dentistry

Southern Smiles, Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is seeking a strong, organized, and people-focused Clinical Team Leader (CTL) to lead our clinical department with excellence, efficiency, and accountability. This role is critical to supporting our practice vision, driving clinical KPIs, and ensuring an exceptional patient and team experience.

Position Schedule

• MondayThursday: 7:45 AM 5:00 PM
• Two Fridays per month: 7:45 AM 2:00 PM
• Status: Full-Time

Position Overview

The Clinical Team Leader oversees the daily operations of the clinical department, ensuring efficiency, consistency, professionalism, and strict adherence to Southern Smiles standards. This role provides direct leadership to Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) and Sterilization Technicians , coordinates clinical resources and workflows, and serves as the primary liaison between the clinical team, labs, vendors, and office leadership.

The CTL is a hands-on leader who will step in to fill RDA and Sterilization Technician roles when needed to maintain clinical production, efficiency, and patient flow.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

• Dental assisting background/ license required
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a dental clinical setting
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold team members accountable
• Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to step into clinical roles as needed
• Strong understanding of dental workflows, sterilization protocols, and OSHA standards
