Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour, AAHA-accredited hybrid hospital located in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, currently seeking a full-time Overnight Emergency Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. This role is perfect for an experienced emergency clinician looking for a well-supported and well-equipped practice with flexible scheduling options.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7. This is a full-time overnight position with scheduling flexibility, including options such as 2-3 shifts per week, 5 on/10 off, or 10 shifts in a row. Overnight availability is required. Specific shift details can be tailored to suit the candidate's preferences and travel needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is designed for an experienced veterinarian confident in emergency medicine. The overnight emergency veterinarian will manage urgent and critical cases, provide triage and diagnostics, and perform necessary emergency treatments and procedures. Responsibilities span internal medicine, urgent surgery, stabilization, and communication with both clients and referring DVMs.

Practice Details
The hospital features an in-house Idexx laboratory, ultrasound, endoscopy, laser therapy, cold laser for rehabilitation, a dedicated dental suite with dental radiology, and radioactive I-131 therapy. Additional services are supported by access to a board-certified cardiologist and surgeon. Core services include internal medicine, preventive care, wellness, dental, dermatology, geriatrics, and medical boarding. The hospital manages a wide range of cases from general wellness to complex emergencies in a fast-paced, well-resourced environment.

The hospital is home to 9 DVMs and a tenured, highly skilled support staff, including certified technicians. Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
