Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Parkland, Florida, hiring an Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established and highly regarded practice. The hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats and is focused on equipping its medical team with the tools, technology, and support needed to deliver exceptional patient care and client service.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The practice is closed on Sundays. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. No after-hours or on-call requirements are specified.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to companion animals. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive medicine, client education, dentistry, and surgery, with an emphasis on core procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, and dental procedures. The role also supports veterinarians with an interest in expanding their surgical skillset and delivering individualized, compassionate care. Strong client communication and a commitment to excellent medicine are essential. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital has served the Parkland community for over 20 years and is known for its whole-pet approach to wellness and high standards of care. The practice offers a diverse caseload that includes general practice, preventive care, surgery, dentistry, geriatric care, alternative medicine, reproductive services, and competition and breeding support. The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and cold laser therapy. The culture is collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented, with a strong focus on teamwork, individualized patient care, and long-term career development.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of four DVMs and a great support staff. The environment is collaborative and team-focused, with an emphasis on communication, shared goals, and empowering staff to provide the highest level of care to every patient.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
