Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its Charlestown location in Boston. The clinic provides comprehensive small animal veterinary care and is hiring an Associate Veterinarian to support high medical standards across preventive, sick, and urgent care services.

Working Hours / Rota
The role is open to either full-time or part-time candidates. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with Saturday shifts worked every other week.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care across a broad caseload. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventive care, sick and urgent care visits, dentistry, and surgery. The role involves building strong client relationships, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment, clearly communicating medical findings and treatment plans, and collaborating closely with the paraprofessional team. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Team
The team consists of fifteen DVMs supported by a strong and experienced support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with an emphasis on teamwork, shared knowledge, and delivering consistently high standards of care.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
