We are hiring an Office Manager & People Operations Lead to take ownership of the internal systems, people operations, and administrative infrastructure that allow the firm to scale thoughtfully. This role exists so our attorneys can focus on advocacy and strategy—and so firm leadership can stay focused on vision, growth, and building what’s next.

 

Why This Role Matters

This is a leadership-minded operations role, not a traditional admin position. You will be the owner of day-to-day office operations and people processes. When something touches HR, internal systems, or firm operations, it should land with you—not drift back to the managing partners.

 

We’re looking for someone who wants responsibility, influence, and the opportunity to grow alongside a firm that is scaling quickly and intentionally.

 

What You’ll Own

 

People Operations & HR Administration

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for all team members
  • Manage benefits administration logistics and vendor coordination
  • Track PTO, holidays, and compliance with firm policies
  • Support performance review cycles and values-based evaluations
  • Maintain and update the employee handbook and internal policies
  • Coordinate training requirements and internal meetings
  • Serve as a professional, discreet point of contact for staff questions

Office & Administrative Operations

  • Manage office logistics, vendors, supplies, and space planning
  • Coordinate office relocation as the firm grows
  • Support hybrid work schedules and in-office needs
  • Oversee tech onboarding/offboarding and access coordination
  • Document, improve, and maintain internal processes and SOPs
  • Identify inefficiencies early and propose solutions

Leadership & Growth Support

  • Act as the operational hub between attorneys, staff, and leadership
  • Translate leadership direction into organized execution
  • Anticipate issues before they become problems
  • Build systems that scale as the firm grows from 6 → 10+ → beyond

Financial management and accounting remain with firm leadership.

Who You Are

You are likely someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of office management, firm administration, or people operations experience
  • Is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable owning outcomes
  • Communicates clearly, directly, and professionally
  • Exercises good judgment and discretion with sensitive matters
  • Enjoys building structure in a growing, evolving environment
  • Wants to grow into increased responsibility over time

 

Prior law firm experience is preferred but not required if you bring strong operational instincts and maturity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salaried exempt position: $70,000–$90,000 DOE

  • Paid holidays, PTO, and a paid week off between Christmas and New Year’s

 

Exceptional candidates with directly relevant experience may be considered above this range.
