General Practice Veterinarian (Associate Veterinarian)

Our client is a full-service animal hospital in Fishers, Indiana, currently seeking a Veterinarian to join their growing team. This practice provides comprehensive veterinary care for dogs and cats, including preventive medicine, surgery, and advanced diagnostics. With a strong emphasis on team support and work-life balance, the clinic welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to develop their careers in a well-equipped, collaborative setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. It is closed on Sundays. Veterinarians typically work four weekdays and participate in a Saturday rotation once every five weeks. This flexible schedule supports a healthy work-life balance, with strong support staff and scribe services reducing administrative workload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves conducting full patient examinations, developing treatment plans, and providing client education with a focus on wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dental care. Veterinarians are expected to deliver high-quality medicine and maintain strong communication with clients. This position is open to both experienced professionals and new graduates, with access to mentorship and continuing education to support career growth.

Practice Details
The facility is equipped with a full suite of advanced tools, including dental X-ray, digital radiology with AI review, ultrasound, therapy lasers, and in-house lab capabilities. Services span preventive care, emergency treatment, dermatology, diagnostics, surgery, and wellness exams. The paperless medical record system and AI-powered diagnostic tools enhance efficiency and patient care quality.

Team
The practice supports its doctors with a 4-5 technician-to-doctor ratio and dedicated scribe services. The team environment is collaborative and growth-oriented, offering ample opportunities for mentorship and continued learning alongside experienced veterinarians.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
