Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established small animal practice. The clinic treats companion animals and has been a trusted part of the community since 1993.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The position offers flexibility, with both part-time and full-time options available, and does not require weekend coverage.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will be responsible for providing general practice care, including surgery and diagnostics, in a collaborative, family-oriented environment. Daily duties include performing exams, interpreting diagnostic results, conducting surgical procedures, and educating clients on pet care. The ideal candidate will have surgical skills and a commitment to community-focused, compassionate care. This role is intended for experienced veterinarians.
Practice Details
The hospital operates from a large, stand-alone facility that includes boarding and grooming services. It is equipped with advanced anesthetic and surgical technology, X-ray and ultrasound capabilities, state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment, and an in-house laboratory for a wide range of diagnostic testing. The clinic offers comprehensive general practice services and is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care.
Team
The practice is staffed by two DVMs and a strong, tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and education-focused, fostering a culture of teamwork, compassion, and continuous learning for both staff and clients.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
