Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their 4-doctor small animal practice in Baxter, Minnesota. They provide veterinary care for dogs and cats and are hiring for a compassionate veterinarian to support their collaborative, mentorship-focused team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The schedule is weekday-only with family-friendly hours and flexibility. This is a full time opportunity, no after-hours or weekend coverage is required.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide a wide range of clinical services, including adult and senior pet wellness, puppy and kitten wellness, dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, endocrinology, behavioral counseling, radiology, ultrasonography, pain management, anesthesia and monitoring, soft tissue surgery, orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, and emergency/extended care. Responsibilities also include health screening tests, nutritional counseling, flea control, microchip identification, and facilitating specialist referrals. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentorship available.

Practice Details
The hospital offers extensive equipment and diagnostic capabilities including radiology, ultrasound, tonometry, laser surgery, orthopedic and soft tissue surgical tools, and an in-house laboratory capable of running urinalysis, CBCs, chemistry panels, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, fecal exams, skin scrapings, fungal cultures, cytology, and more. Additional services include grooming, medicated baths, pharmacy access, pet accessories, and nutritional products. The practice culture is team-focused, collaborative, and supportive, with long-tenured staff and a high technician-to-doctor ratio.

Candidate Requirements

Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
