Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation of industrial equipment, water systems, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from plant management.
• Perform general facility maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, and cleaning.
• Participate in the safety committee to promote and maintain safe work practices.
• Follow instructions carefully and complete tasks safely and on time.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
• Work cooperatively and professionally with team members.
• Be available for off-shift hours or weekend work for special projects and equipment overhauls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

• High school Diploma or GED preferred
• Experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or cleanroom environment.
• Proficient in the proper use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
• Experience in boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC system operation, and general facility repair.
• Prior experience operating and/or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment a plus
