We are hiring a Part-Time Prep Cook & Event Support Cook to assist our kitchen and catering team in Des Moines, Iowa. You’ll play an important behind-the-scenes role ensuring the kitchen is prepped and events run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Perform daily prep tasks such as chopping, portioning, and sauce preparation to support kitchen operations
• Catering & Events: Assist with loading, setup, and food service at off-site catering and special events
• Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and event workspace in compliance with food safety and health standards
• Team Support: Assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager with various tasks to ensure smooth and successful service

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen or food service experience, or a strong willingness to learn
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude with attention to cleanliness and organization
• Availability to work 10–20 hours per week with a flexible schedule
• Reliable transportation for event setup and support
